Research findings suggest that hibiscus extract has the potential to prevent cholesterol deposition and may therefore be useful in the prevention and even treatment of a number of cardiovascular diseases in which cholesterol plays a major role.
Researcher Dr Chau-Jong Wang said: "Experiments have shown that compounds extracted from red wine and tea reduce cholesterol and lipid build-up in the arteries of rats. This is the first study to show that Hibiscus extract has the same effect." © 2004 CMG
HAWTHORN BERRY PROMOTES BLOOD FLOW
Hawthorn is native to the Mediterranean region. According to Christian legend, the crown of thorns was believed to be made of Hawthorn. In ancient Greece, Hawthorn was a symbol of hope and happiness. The flavonoids and proanthocyanidins are powerful antioxidants that exert a beneficial effect on blood vessels. Hawthorne berry is known to have a relaxing effect on the cardiovascular system, therefore reducing blood pressure in people with hypertension.
A significant amount of solid research regarding the use of hawthorn as a treatment for congestive heart failure occurred between 1981 and 1994. Fourteen controlled clinical studies were performed, most of them double blind. In all, 741 people participated.
The cumulative results strongly suggest that Hawthorn is an effective treatment for congestive heart failure. Comparative studies suggest that Hawthorn is about as effective as a low dose of the conventional drug captopril.
How do you use Cardio Vino?
Many people place 10 to15 drops and hold under the tongue as many as 10 times per day. This is the most efficient way to deliver many powerful artery cleanser directly into the blood via capillary infusion. Sublingual (under the tongue) administration of medications bypasses the digestive process and thus efficiently conveys virtually 100% of the compound to the blood.
Red Wine to the Rescue?
Laboratroy studies funded by the National Science Foundation affiliated with the Salk Institute in San Diego, have found resveratrol found in red wine, has demonstrated an impressive list of health benefits, including roles as antioxidant, cancer preventative, blood thinner and blood pressure-lowering. Resveratrol recently was shown to increase the life span in fruit flies and yeast, suggesting an additional role as a promising anti-aging natural chemical.

*What is the *French Paradox?
Simply put, the paradox is the fact that while the people of France commonly eat diets consisting of excess fats and carbohydrates generally associated with causing heart problems and clogged arteries, paradoxically, they by and large do not suffer such diseases.
The reason the french can eat this way and get away with it seems to be the concurrent consumption of Red Wine. The specific constituents in the red wine are flavonoids, specifically one with the name Resveratrol
Cardio Vino reduces the most potent Concord Grape wine down to its flavanoids and resveratrol and then synergistically combines it with Hibiscus, Hawthorne Berry, Ginko Biloba, and Ginseng.
